While the development of the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake goes underway, fans awaiting the title still hold a number of questions on what is to be included.

In a recent Dengeki PlayStation interview with game director Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase, they inform critics that the remake will include full voice acting, a feature that was absent in the original title.

While not all the voice actors have been selected yet, it is believed that Nomura will opt to reuse the talent that performed in the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

"Basically, it will be fully voiced," he said. "We still haven't decided the voices of the characters that weren't in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children."

Kitase went on to add that the dating events in the game will also arrive fully voiced.

"It would be impossible not to," he added. "However, since it's different from that time and social situation, we need [to] implement the reproduction of original events carefully."

Due to some previous comments on the game being episodic so that the developers can make the world more expansive, it has been heavily speculated if the remake will be open world. Kitase hasn't delivered an answer to what they are currently planning, but he does wish to create a gaming environment that is directly affected by the actions of the player.

Apart from this, Kitase is currently seeking a way to implement the highly favored mini-games that appeared in the original, as he understands it would upset fans to not see it present.

When asked if the two had any special plans to commemorate the game on its upcoming 20th anniversary, they warned that they were unable to respond.

There is still no official release date on Episode 1 of the remake.
