'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice Ends Feud With Sister-in-Law Melissa Gorga
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga have officially ended their feud for the Bravo network cameras.
Radar Online reports, after being released from prison earlier this month, one of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star's first orders of business was to have a heart-to-heart with her heretofore estranged sister-in-law.
"Christmas Eve was a time for new beginnings for Melissa and Teresa," a source said. "They had a very real heart to heart as soon as Teresa arrived at Melissa's house. It lasted for about forty-five minutes."
Word is Giudice thanked Gorga for helping to care for her four young daughters while the star was away serving her 15-month sentence on charges of fraud at the Danbury Correctional facility.
"The two have had their issues over the years but Teresa gained a new perspective on their relationship while she was in prison," a source added. "Her brother, Joe, obviously loves Melissa, and Teresa recognizes that is really all that matters."
Teresa's four daughters -- Gia, 14, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 6 -- are also rumored to be very close to Melissa and Joe Gorga's kids, adding yet another reason for the families to reconcile their long held differences.
A source later added the 43-year-old Giudice "will always put her girls first. Getting along with Melissa is in the best interests of her kids. All of the drama is done."
But skeptics point out the reconciliation seems to too perfect and may simply be another act for the cameras.
"Why didn't Melissa once visit Teresa in prison?" a source said. "The minute the cameras stop rolling, they'll probably be back not speaking again."
According to Hollywood Take, Teresa's husband Joe Giudice is slated to begin serving out his 41-month sentence early next year on the same fraud-related charges his wife was convicted of. After he is released from custody, word is the native Italian could also face deportation proceedings.
