Taraji P. Henson is rumored to be dating NFL veteran Kelvin Hayden.

E! Online reports the "Empire" star and the much younger athlete recently walked the beach in Miami hand-in-hand for all to see. The 45-year-old actress is currently on break from shooting in her Fox network role as Cookie Lyon.

Sources indicate Henson wore an Emilio Pucci bikini and matching shorts, as she and 32-year-old Hayden held hands during their stroll. She completed her look by donning sunglasses and carrying a Chanel handbag.

Currently a free agent, Hayden previously played for the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons and the Indianapolis Colts, with whom he won a Super Bowl in 2007.

Some insist he seems a natural for Henson, who in the past has indicated she is most attracted to men who are "confident and let me be who I am."

Henson and "Empire" co-star Terrence Howard recently staged a video aimed at squashing rumors they were feuding on set.

Contrary to rumors the two stars have long been at odds, Henson recently took to Instagram to post that she would never fight to work with someone she did not get along with. An accompanying video makes fun of the rumors by showing the two stars arguing, only to have the exchange end in a warm embrace.

"I love you Terrence," she tells her TV hubby before they share a kiss on the lips and hug one another.

"Empire" also stars Jussie Smollett as Jamal Lyon, Bryshere Y. Gray as Hakeem Lyon, Grace Gealey as Anika Calhoun, Trai Byers as Andre Lyon and Kaitlin Doubleday as Rhonda Lyon.
