Former beauty queen and actress Ximena Navarrete isn't being shy about her relationship with boyfriend Juan Carlos Valladares Jr. and recently declared her love for the businessman on social media.

On Dec. 27, Navarrete shared an intimate photo of herself and Valladares with her followers on Instagram.

In the black-and-white photo, the couple can be seen sharing a kiss. The actress further added to the buzz surrounding the photo by adding the simple but effective caption "I love you."

Back in October, Navarrete confirmed the relationship with a photo on social media.

The photo ended persistent speculation that romantically tied Navarrete to actor William Levy, whom she starred with in the telenovela "La Tempestad."

The 27-year-old recently made headlines when she shared her opinion on the 2015 Miss Universe controversy.

After host Steve Harvey accidentally named Miss Colombia as the new Miss Universe, instead of Miss Philippines, many took to Twitter to criticize both the contestants and Harvey, reported NBC News.

In a long Instagram post the actress slammed all those attacking the contestants and the host, using her own experience as Miss Universe 2010 to voice her opinion.

"What objective does attacking Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines have? All the contestants have the same dream of winning... Unfortunately only one can take the crown, God doesn't make mistakes. Why continue with insults and fighting?" she captioned a photo.

"Miss Universe is a program that is aired live, so they are exposed to errors happening. The host of the program (is a human being like anyone else) made a mistake in naming the winner... No need to insult and condemn a person who simply made a mistake," she added when defending Harvey.
