'Arrow' Season 4, Episode 5 Spoilers: New Promo Previews Oliver and Damien Fighting Scene [Video]
A new dramatic promo video shows that Oliver (Stephen Amell) will go on a bloodthirsty mission to seek revenge and kill Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) when "Arrow" returns from its midwinter hiatus next month.
In the trailer, which is titled "Revenge," Oliver is seen plotting to find Damien as quickly as possible.
The preview also features intense fighting scenes between Damien and Oliver and a touching moment between Oliver and Diggle.
"You should know that whatever your play is, I got your back," Diggle tells Oliver.
In another clip, Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) mother and Oliver appear to be worried as they visit Felicity in the hospital.
As fans may recall, the midseason finale ended with a shocking cliff hanger that left viewers wondering if Felicity is really dead. In the action-packed episode, Felicity was shot when Damien Darhk's ghosts opened fired on Oliver's limo shortly after he proposed to her.
During a recent interview with Bello magazine, Rickards revealed that Felicity "is sincerely in danger." She added that, "Felicity is right now completely not on this planet. So, it's going to be a little bit of a devastation, and it will be interesting on how it's dealt with. You have to keep in mind how strong she is, and hopefully that strength will prevail and keep her around."
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim also opened up about the rest of Season 4, teasing that fans can expect actress Megalyn Echikunwoke of the new DC Comics series "Vixen" to make another guest appearance on "Arrow." According to TVInsider, she is going to reprise her role as Mari McCabe, a hero who possess the power to imitate any animal.
"We're not only thrilled to be further expanding our DC television universe by bringing in the live-action incarnation of the CW Seed hit, Vixen, we're immensely excited that Megalyn will be revisiting her role as Mari McCabe," said the showrunner
The midseason premiere of "Arrow" will air on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
