Best Dressed Latinas of 2015: Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Gina Rodriguez & More
This year's best dressed Latinas knew how to work their best assets, weren't afraid to take risks and used fashion to help define their images. Find out if your favorite stars made the list.
Jennifer Lopez
No one should be surprised that Lopez is on this list. Anytime that the Puerto Rican superstar stepped onto a red carpet, she evoked glamour, sex appeal and confidence.
From her unexpected Elie Saab princess ball gown at the Academy Awards to the variety of Billboard Music Awards looks she wore, Lopez knew how to make fashion statements.
Selena Gomez
The award for most improved fashionista of the year goes to former Disney darling Selena Gomez. This year the 23-year-old singer took risks, showed off some skin and evoked a more mature image.
The singer seemed keen on thigh slits, plunging necklines and sequined looks, like the sexy Givenchy dress she wore to the 2015 American Music Awards.
Eva Longoria
The actress is known for her petite frame, but this year Longoria didn't let that limit her. She rocked a floor length gown with a train as good as the tallest runway model and used heels to elongate her legs.
The floor-length gray and silver Gabriela Cadena gown that she wore at Cannes 2015 was a hit with fashion critics, and her knack for wearing unique bodycon dresses has become a signature for her.
Gina Rodriguez
The breakout Latina is not only a star on television, but also when it comes to her impressive fashion choices.
After wowing at the 2015 Golden Globes with a black strapless Badgley Mischka gown, the Latina continued her string of great fashion choices with a web-inspired gray dress at the Teen Choice Awards and feather-studded Lorena Sarbu gown at the 2015 Emmys.
Demi Lovato
No one did edgy like pop star Demi Lovato this year. Whether taking inspiration from a 1920s flapper at the American Music Awards or wearing a cropped top with a skirt when out and about, Lovato always added a bit of a rocker vibe to her look.
Even when she showed up in a pastel pink dress by Nicolas Jebran at the MTV Video Music Awards, the 23-year-old maintained her edgy vibe by wearing a cool pattern and wearing her cropped hair sleeked back.
Dascha Polanco
If anyone knows how to dress for her figure, it is "Orange Is the New Black" star Dascha Polanco. The curvy Dominicana always took the opportunity to show off her figure, whether at a film premiere or on the sidelines of a fashion show.
The star's best red carpet moment came when she stepped out in a Jay Godfrey white dress for the premiere of "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation."
Jessica Alba
Now that Alba is not only an actress but also a powerful business woman, the star has incorporated her new role into her wardrobe.
This year the Latina, who tended to be on most best dressed lists, rocked a variety of blazers with bodycon dresses and knee-length dresses, spicing things up with colorful heels and bright lipstick.
Christina Milian
The star made several fashion statements at a variety of events this year, including her full leather BCBGMAXAZRIA look at New York Fashion Week and printed dress at the Balmain for H&M pre-launch event in Los Angeles.
Milian made features like a graphic dress, deep purple lipstick or sleek bun look effortlessly cool. The singer and actress is definitely one to watch in 2016.
Victoria Justice
If there is an award for the best use of color, it may just go to Victoria Justice. The actress is very good at using color to complement a dark look and doesn't shy away from bright looks.
This past year, the actress went from bohemian starlet, to pin-up girl in a plunging sequined dress, to rocking a pair of bright wide-leg pants. But no matter the outfit, she always pulled it off.
Joan Smalls
The Puerto Rican model took the fashion world by storm, on the runaway and off. Smalls used her height to her advantage in a variety of looks this year. She made sure her looks showed off her best assets, such as her long legs and toned arms, as she did in her sheer Roberto Cavalli dress at the 2014 Met Gala.
Even when wearing black, Smalls made up for it with cutouts and sheer fabric. When it comes to good style, this Latina has got it down pat.
