What a gal. You can always count on Taylor Swift to be there for her friends! The Speak Now singer recently made headlines for "crashing" Seth Rogan's SNL Opening Monologue, and now people are talking about her latest bridal shower surprise.

Unbeknownst to super fan Gena Gabrielle, Swift made a visit to her bridal shower.

Gabrielle, whose bridal shower took place in Columbus, Ohio had first met Swift at a 2007 meet and greet and over time the two developed a friendship.

"I was going to say I had no idea Taylor was coming it was a complete surprise. She's an incredible person and amazing friend," Gabrille tweeted.

Gabrielle originally invited Swift to the actual wedding and, because Swift would not be able to make it due to her jam-packed schedule, she opted for the bridal shower instead.

As though her visit wasn't surprise enough, Swift also brought gifts. She gave Gabrielle a KitchenAid mixer complete with a hand-written recipe and LeCreuset cookware, reports USA Today.

Gabrielle celebrated the special day with a flood of Instagram pics and tweets about how happy and surprised she was at Swift's kind gesture.

She tweeted, "@taylorswift13 thank you so much for everything. You went above my wildest dreams. I can't thank you enough."

Although Taylor has been the one doing surprise visits, she also got a friendly visit from HBO's Girls star and writer Lena Dunham this week. Dunham was spotted heading towards Swift's NYC apartment carrying what appeared to look like a script in her hands.

Rumors are now surfacing that Swift may be appearing on the next season of Girls. If this is in fact true, the collaboration seems like a natural decision given the girls' close friendship and support of one another's works.
