Eva Longoria recently admitted she's eagerly planning a "big, fat Mexican wedding" with fiance Jose Antonio Baston.

While stressing she's in no great rush, Longoria hinted on the "Today" show on Monday that she already has an ideal wedding in mind.

"We haven't even discussed it," People magazine reports she said of an actual plan for their nuptials. "I mean, I'm still in the glow of the engagement, and it was such a surprise ... so we're still absorbing that moment."

The 47-year-old Baston popped the question last month during a romantic trip to Dubai, and Longoria instantly accepted. The 40-year-old "Desperate Housewives" star has been proudly wearing a ruby and diamond engagement ring ever since.

"He's amazing, he's gorgeous and really the kindest human being I've ever met," she said of her businessman beau known as "Pepe. He's really private, so I never talk about him!"

According to People, the couple began dating in 2013, dispelling rumors at the time that she was romantically linked to Eduardo Cruz. Things have been going smoothly between Longoria and Baston, with a source previously telling the magazine, "She's very happy, and he's crazy about her."

Longoria was previously married to NBA star Tony Parker from 2007 to 2010. She recently told People that relationship helped prepare her to find love again and made her open to the relationship she now enjoys with Baston.

"I learned to be content on my own," she said. "I think I needed that to be ready for what I have with Pepe."

Meanwhile, Longoria is hard at work starring in the new comedy "Telenovela," set to premiere Monday night on NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET.

In the show, Longoria plays an aging Spanish superstar actresses forced to confront the reality dwindling options in Hollywood.
