'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice Required to Wear Ankle Bracelet
Teresa Guidice will be required to wear an ankle bracelet while serving out the remainder of her 15-month sentence on charges of bank fraud.
Radar Online reports the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is none too pleased about the situation.
After serving roughly a year behind bars, the 43-year-old reality star was released from the Danbury Correctional facility earlier this month and is slated to serve out the rest of her sentence under home confinement.
Giudice has already signed on to rejoin the cast of "Real Housewives," and rumors are she finds her new accessory to be cumbersome and bulky.
"She wants to show off her legs, but doesn't want to be photographed wearing it," a source added. "It's just an embarrassing reminder of her crimes and the time she did behind bars."
As a result, Giudice has reportedly taken to wearing a completely different style of clothing, which features flare leg pants, in hopes of concealing the bracelet from the public.
"Keeping the ankle bracelet hidden requires a special wardrobe," the source added. "Teresa wants to wear a short miniskirt and heels, but that's just not an option."
Word is Giudice was recently forced to talk about her time behind bars on the set of "RHONJ" while the cameras rolled.
"She wasn't happy to do it, but knew Bravo wanted it for the show," a source said.
Meanwhile, Joe Giudice is slated to soon commence serving out his 41-month sentence on the same charges. A native of Italy, Giudice could also face deportation proceedings whenever he is released from custody.
Teresa Giudice has already signed on to pen a tell-all book about her prison experiences. While she was away, Joe Giudice and the couple's four young daughters starred in a Bravo network spin off about trying to hold their family together while Teresa Giudice was away.
