GTA 5 Online Gameplay: Grand Theft Auto V Game Players Make Their Own "Heists" Update
Rockstar Games is keeping the long-awaited updates coming. Last week, the game developer released its Capture Creator Update.
On April 11, Rockstar Games announced that gamers can finally create their own Capture Jobs. The best ones will become Rockstar Verified. In case players need a little help getting started, Rockstar Games also created a guide to the update.
"Strategically place pick-ups, define weaponry, location and lots of other variables to make your own unique Capture Job for others to take on," Rockstar Games announced via its Newswire page.
In addition, the game developer said it has extended its "2X GTA$ and RP period" until April 20. It was originally supposed to end last week.
"...so playing any Capture Jobs, including those made with the Creator tools will earn you twice as much GTA$ and RP until the end of the day on Sunday," Rockstar Games explained.
Gamers are still anxiously awaiting the Heists update, but no specific release date has been announced beyond "this spring." Until then, some have found their own way to do some "heists."
"Lots of people are making mini heists in the bank, and it pays up to 28k for the winning team per person, so it kind of is like a heist," a gamer named ONLYUSEmeR4GE commented. "Minus preparation, always a good thing!"
"my homeboy/crew member created a bank heists called Public Bank Heists. I actually enjoyed it," xTeeJae added. "...people that created bank heists just made it a bit more fun."
Rockstar Games has also promised The High Life Update. It will feature new ways to live lavishly like new apartment decor, clothing, the Bullpup Rifle and new Jobs. The update will add three new vehicles and the Dink Thrust motorcycle to the game. This also lacks a release date.
"For those asking about other spring updates, we'll have more info on the High Life Update and Heists coming soon, stay tuned,' Rockstar Games said.
