Demi Lovato recently revealed she feels her best when she's totally undressed.

Long open about her struggles with self-confidence, the 23-year-old singer told People magazine she now feels her most beautiful when she's dressed in her birthday suit.

"Just completely stripped down, completely organic, me," she added.

Lovato later added boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama also likes to see her fresh faced and free of makeup.

"When we're able to have a date, I go without makeup on," she said. "He tells me every day that I'm beautiful."

Late last year, Lovato posed for a series of nude photos for a Vanity Fair profile. In negotiating the deal, Lovato insisted that all the pictures be free of makeup and digital retouching in any way.

"What's wrong with being confident?" she later added.

Lovato recently launched a skincare line, Devonne by Demi. As part of promotion for the line, she has been urging fans to share their makeup-free pics on social media, calling the series "No Makeup Mondays."

Lovato recently showed off a bare-faced selfie of herself as she cuddled with her beloved dog Batman. She also recently showed off her freckles in another totally natural shot captured after a day at the beach.

"Today I'm embracing my beachy bronzed freckles," she wrote along with the pic.

Lovato is busy these days, recently performing at "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest" in New York.

Earlier this week, she released a new video with Fall Out Boy for their song "Irresistible." In the video, Lovato dons a low-cut candy cane dress and goes shopping for boy band dolls.

The scene is meant as a parody of NSYNC's classic 1990s video for their hit "It's Gonna Be Me." Former boy band members Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick also make cameos in the Fall Out Boy video.
