Chris Brown Trial and Asssault Charge: 'X' Singer's Mug Shot Leaks Online Ahead of Assault Trial in Washington D.C. [PIC]
Of course this can't possibly be his best look -- Chris Brown's unfortunate mug shot leaks online in time for his assault trial in Washington, D.C.
The 24-year-old R&B singer and his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were arrested and charged with assault back in October following allegedly breaking a man's nose during an altercation. Now, nearly six months after the incident, local CBS affiliate WUSA9 obtained and posted Brown's mug shot.
The trial for Hollosy already began in Superior Court on Thursday and is expected to last one to two days. The "Loyal" singer's trial is set to begin after his bodyguard's ends. Both men's cases will be tried separately and decided by a judge, instead of a jury.
Brown has been behind bars since March 14 after he allegedly violated the terms of his probation set after his 2009 attack on his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. After entering rehab for anger management and violating the treatment facility's rules, he was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals earlier this month and held in solitary confinement for three weeks to protect him from other inmates. The X singer was then transferred from Men's Central Jail in Downtown Los Angeles to facility closer to where his trial will be held in D.C. last week.
Chris Brown will be facing a maximum sentence of 180 days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. He is currently waiting for a probation hearing scheduled on April 23 in L.A.
