Fifth Harmony React to People's Choice Win, Promises Surprise for Fans
Fifth Harmony was named Favorite Group at the Jan. 6 People's Choice Awards, and after the win the group took to social media to share their gratitude.
Group members Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Kordei and Camila Cabello all took to Twitter to thank fans for voting for them. The group was nominated along with One Direction, Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5 and Imagine Dragons.
Hansen tweeted her reaction to the win and thanked the group's loyal fans, known as Harmonizers.
Kordei thanked the People's Choice Awards for even considering them as a nominee.
While Cabello also thanked fans for helping them win the award she also promised them a little something in return to come very soon.
While she didn’t exactly say what fans should expect, it may be safe to say that Cabello was talking about new music, possibly a new single.
For months now the pop group has been teasing fans with details about their upcoming sophomore album, currently called "5H2," which Cabello also noted will be coming soon.
The group revealed that they were recording new material in October, and Lauren Jauregui confirmed to Billboard that they were working with producer Max Martin.
Most recently, Kordei told InStyle that the new album would feature more vulnerable material from the pop group.
"Definitely expect more maturity and vulnerability," she said. "Our last album didn't really showcase our vulnerable side. But it's okay to cry and get caught up in your emotions-that's what's realistic."
