Perhaps this is an obvious sign of them getting back together in the future - Karrueche Tran shows her on-and-off boyfriend Chris Brown full support at his assault trial in Washington D.C.

Dressed in all black expressing solidarity, the model stepped into the Columbia Superior Court for the troubled R&B singer's first day of trial hearings. Brown's mother Joyce Hawkins, as well as his friends Bow Wow and Tank also joined her to be by his side.

The "Loyal" singer is currently facing a misdemeanor assault charge for allegedly breaking a man's nose during an altercation outside the W hotel in last October. On Thursday (April 17), alleged victim Parker Adams, 20, testified against Brown's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy that he was struck with back-to-back punches by both of them, leaving him with multiple injuries.

Adams continued to explain the incident - he and his two female friends had approached the 24-year-old singer, who initially agreed to have his photo taken with the two young women. However, when Adams tried to get in the picture, Chris Brown made a homophobic remark, allegedly saying, "I'm not into that gay shit." The verbal confrontation eventually escalated.

Both the "X" singer and Hollosy have plead not guilty. Defense attorney Bernie Grimm claimed that Adams was seeking to make money off the incident by filing a $3 million lawsuit against them.

If convicted in the D.C. case, Chris Brown could possibly be sentenced for up to four years in prison.
