Tom Cruise has found a Scientologist partner in Laura Prepon, according to New York Post's Page Six.

Cruise, a Hollywood veteran, has been out of the dating scene for quite some time. Recently, however, Cruise and Prepon were reportedly spotted at the Manor Hotel in Los Angeles causing speculation that he was dating the "Orange Is the New Black" actress to become even stronger.

"They spent three hours laughing and joking. It's clear Tom is smitten, and after the date he was on cloud nine," British magazine Grazia reported. "They had their second date at the restaurant too, meeting for Sunday brunch, and then she accompanied him a few days later to a dinner party at John [Travolta]'s home."

Prepon's rep denies the couple is dating. Cruise's rep goes further and says the couple has never met. This could just be the couple trying to keep the whole thing a secret.

Meanwhile, as Prepon works on the set of Orange Is the New Black it's becoming a "buzz" on the set. The gossip could also help increase publicity for the show that returns to Netflix June 6.

Still, Cruise's publicist is trying to shush those who say he is dating Prepon.

"They see each other at some functions, but they are not dating," an insider told Us Weekly.

Cruise, 51, had a seven-year marriage with actress Katie Holmes. That ended in 2012. They have a seven-year old girl, Suri, from the marriage. Before Holmes, Cruise has been married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.

Prepon, who is only 34, is most remembered for her role as Donna in the sitcom That '70s Show. Now, Prepon has grown up and is playing a lesbian drug dealer on the Netflix show Orange Is the New Black. Prepon also had a long relationship prior to Cruise. Prepon dated Christopher Masterson, a fellow Scientologist, best known for playing Francis on Malcolm In the Middle for seven years.
