Blue Ivy Carter celebrated her fourth birthday on Jan. 9 with a fairy-themed party that included an entertainer who crafted balloon animals for the kids.

E! Online reports Jay Z and Beyonce's only child's bash was also attended by Destiny's Child pal Kelly Rowland and rocker Chris Martin.

The party was held at a private residence on Saturday, two days after Blue Ivy's actual birthday. The celebration also featured a huge big birthday cake, ice cream and plenty of other snacks.

Word is there was also a section cornered off for Carter and her guests to play with Barbies, Play-Doh and LEGOs. Sources added Beyonce and Jay Z mingled nearby, laughing with guests and openly showing affection for each other.

For her first birthday, the IBTimes reports the family celebrated with a princess-themed New York City bash, where Carter was gifted an $80,000 diamond-encrusted Barbie doll. The party also featured nearly $100,000 worth of roses and a cake costing more than $2,000.

A source explained the super-rich couple feels "nothing is too much for their bundle of joy and money is often no object."

"They wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life," the source added. "They work hard for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl."

By birthday No. 2, the "Drunk in Love" couple had moved on to renting out the Jungle Life interactive wildlife park in Miami and feting their daughter in a party where Us Weekly reported she also received a mini blue Ferrari and pink Cadillac as gifts.

Last year, the theme of the celebration was the mega-hit film "Frozen," rumored to be among Carter's favorite flicks. Party guests were left to marvel at an ice sculpture of a snowflake, and the celebration was highlighted by a rainbow colored cake.
