Mortal Kombat X News: New DLC Character Footage Coming this Week
Mortal Kombat X fans will soon see some video footage of the new downloadable content (DLC) characters that are coming to the game. This week, a video clip showing some of the new characters in action will be shown, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon said.
There are four new characters coming to Mortal Kombat X and this week gamers will get a chance to see them in action in a special preview video, IGN reports.
The four characters coming to Mortal Kombat X are Leatherface from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Xenomorph from "Alien," Tri-Borg and Bo Rai Cho. These four characters were announced in December and they will appear in Kombat Pack 2, a season pass of downloadable content for Mortal Kombat X.
Leatherface and Xenomorph are the two external characters being added to Mortal Kombat X. Bo Rai Cho has appeared in previous versions of Mortal Kombat and Tri-Borg is a combination of Mortal Kombat characters Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke.
Many Mortal Kombat fans are probably already familiar with Bo Rai Cho and know that Tri-Borg will have a fighting style very similar to the three characters that he was created after. Because of this, Mortal Kombat X will probably want to show video footage of what Leatherface and Xenomorph look like in action.
Leatherface is a former meat shop butcher who still wears his apron but now carries a chainsaw. He will use his chainsaw to chop up other fighters and for fatalities and brutalities.
Xenomorph is a character from the popular "Alien" movies. Xenomorph will implant aliens that can explode out of the chest of his opponents.
There has already been a short video that shows off some of the DLC characters, but it does not show much fighting. Hopefully this upcoming video shows actual fighting and what the characters' fighting styles will be like.
