Mimi Faust Twitter & Boyfriend: 'Love and Hip Hop' Stars' Sex Tape Video Has Sold $400,000 In Vivid Entertainment Pre-Sales [WATCH]
It's the sex tape that impressively combines gymnastics, shower rods, and loads of afternoon delight in a NSFW video produced by Vivid entertainment.
We're talking about Love and Hip Hop ATL stars Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith's sex tape titled, Scandal in Atlanta. The trailer to the infamous sex tape was released this week and features Mimi engaging in some "extra curricular activities" on a very sturdy shower rod.
The trailer has created such a frenzy among fans that reports are now claiming that home improvement stores like Home Depot are selling out of shower rods due to fans trying to test out Mimi's shower stunts for themselves.
Fans have even gone as far as creating a Twitter handle called @MimiShowerRod causing Mimi herself to respond via Twitter.
"Hey @mimishowerrod...you hangin in there," she tweeted.
The sextape, set to debut on Monday, April 21 has already done outstandingly well in pre-sales according Vivid Founder and CEO Steve Hirsch.
"Vivid has never seen pre-orders at this level," said Hirsch.
So far, the estimated total in pre-sales for the Scandalous sex tape has reached over $400,000.
So what do Mimi and Nikko have to say about all of this? Well, when TMZ caught up with the ATL couple at LAX airport, they were all smiles and even revealed that they had a measuring tape fetish. Mimi explained that she enjoys measuring Nikko from time to time in the bedroom.
Looks like Home Depot might also want to stock up on some measuring tapes too.
Although Mimi and Nikko seem happy with their sex tape, others have an opposing opinion.
On his morning radio show, Think Like A Man author Steve Harvey weighed in on Mimi's sex tape and expressed his disapproval of her decision to release the video.
"Stop thinking about right now, whatever little momentary five minutes of fame and little piece of little change it's going to put in your pocket. Whatever money they put in your pocket, it's not going to be worth the hell that comes with it. It's not going to be worth your reputation. It ain't going to be worth your image. It ain't gonna be worth nothing as it lives in cyberspace forever," he said.
