The second half of Season 6 for "The Walking Dead" is poised to be some of the most explosive episodes on television. There is enough reason to believe that not only will the show cross some boundaries this season, but it may also end up saying goodbye to some characters that have been there since the beginning.

According to Deadline, the new artwork leads fans of the show to believe in two different things at once: hope and tragedy. With every victory comes a moment of tragedy. A fallen hero may die for the greater good, but his fans will be forever haunted by his/her passing.

For every tragedy comes a new hope that the group, and other survivors have found a new safe place to live. Something that holds the protections of prison walls, or the way of life the characters saw in Woodbury and Alexandria. It gives them hope that a society that has long since passed can be achieved again.

Fans of the show know all too well that the bad guys aren't just bad by default: They too are trying to create a better world out of the chaos that plagues society. In doing so, their stories can find shades of gray that were once unrealized.

If fans had been following the residents of Woodbury and the Governor from the beginning, then it is all too likely that they would have viewed Rick Grimes and his motley crew of survivors as bad guys.

So therein lies the message of the new artwork revealed for the second half of Season 6, as seen on its Facebook page.

Fans know all to well who's coming this next half of the season. The new big-bad, Negan, and his group called the Saviors.

The show will be sending fans their next love letter on Feb. 14 when it returns on AMC.
