Mortal Kombat X Trailer Shows off DLC Characters [Watch]
The four new characters coming to Mortal Kombat X as downloadable content (DLC) in the Kombat Pack 2 have been given the chance to fight and show off some moves in a new trailer.
For the first time, Mortal Kombat X fans get to see the four new characters fighting, Game Spot reports.
Bo Rai Cho, Leatherface, Xenomorph and Tri-Borg are all coming to Mortal Kombat X as DLC. Leatherface is from the movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and Xenomorph is from the movie "Alien." Bo Rai Cho is from previous versions of Mortal Kombat, and Tri-Borg is actually a combination of three different Mortal Kombat fighters.
Leatherface is the first character shown in the trailer. As expected, he uses his chainsaw repeatedly. He swings the weapon at opponents and sticks it into their torsos to hack them to pieces. In one clip, as an opponent is being held in the air by his chainsaw, Leatherface hits him right in the head with a hammer.
Tri-Borg uses speed and electricity to attack his opponents. He is shown zapping an opponent and shooting bombs as well. He is also able to quickly move across the screen to attack. Finally, he is shown reeling in an opponent with ropes and then smashing him with his fists.
Bo Rai Cho is the drunken fist master. He is revealed in the trailer to be slow, but powerful. He punches and kicks his opponent before spitting on him. He then jumps onto his opponent and sits on him. Bo Rai Cho's powerful finisher is a power bomb right to the head.
Finally, Xenomorph uses his height and tail to his advantage in the trailer. He swings his tail and strangles his opponents. He also grabs one opponent and opens his mouth to reveal another smaller mouth, about to attack, before the trailer skips to quick clips of all four fighters in action.
The Kombat Pack 2 will be released in the early part of this year. It will probably cost the same $30 price as the first Kombat Pack. It will include special character skins as well.
