The USA network hit TV show "Mr. Robot" will be coming back this summer, and for fans of the show, there is reason to be really excited for what it is going to feature.

According to Deadline, the storylines have been introduced with the cast and crew, but not all of the stories have been fleshed out with solid details. The production team will wrap up the season 2 production in March, but there are still many angles that are being ironed out.

Creator Sam Esmail spoke at the TCA winter press tour and said that his ideas for the season are being brought to fruition and he does not want disclose too much to fans at this point. But there are a few points he spoke about that fans of the show are really going to love.

"If there's a headline for Season 2, it's how Elliot reconciles with the fact that he's seeing this fantasy; that's the struggle that will take over in Season 2," Esmail told reporters at the TCA event. "In Season 2 there will be a lot more backstory shown."

Fans of season one have likely been wondering about certain aspects of the show's main character and what drives him to certain situations. Telling his backstory will no doubt put things in perspective for fans, but it will also give them a sense of where the show is going and how much more it can expand upon the original concept.

There are also elements to the first season of the show that seemed to be out of place, or had no real foundation as to why they were being talked about. The last scene of the season involving the conversation about the corporation's involvement with the Coltan Mines in the Congo is a good example of that.

"I don't put anything in the show arbitrarily. It's not going to dominate the second season, but that topic will be addressed," Esmail said.

There has been no date announced yet as to when Season 2 will premiere on the cable network.
