Cheryl Fernandez-Versini made her first public appearance amid reports she has filed for divorce from husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. The "X-Factor UK" star was spotted in London during the launch of a new boxing gym called "KOBOX."

Cheryl stepped out to Chelsea's King's Road in London on Thursday to show her support for Shane Collins' business venture. Collins is the boyfriend of Cheryl's PA Lily England. A photo of the "X-Factor UK" smiling for the cameras at the opening is shared by Mail Online.

The 32-year-old singer put on a brave front as she smiled for the cameras at the event. Despite the recent divorce claims surrounding her marriage to Jean-Bernard, Cheryl managed to give a bright-eyed smile.

Cheryl has reportedly not been seen in public for three weeks. Instead, she has resorted to posting her photos on her Instagram page. A recent picture shows the former Girls Aloud singer giving a shout out to Collins and his new kickboxing gym. "K O'd by Shane @kobox," she captioned the shot, wherein she donned a Nike baseball cap and workout gear, along with an emoji of a fist bump.

She has recently been sharing selfies where she's either smiling or giving the camera a sullen look. Cheryl has yet to publicly confirm her divorce from Jean-Bernard. However, her previous post somehow hints at the split.

"Sending love to all the women out there trying to love themselves in a world that constantly tells them not to," Cheryl shared this Instagram message early January.

Likewise, Cheryl's former Girls Aloud band member hinted the divorce is real. Sarah Harding hinted to the divorce during her appearance on "Loose Women" on Wednesday. The hosts were on the topic of celebrity divorces and pointed out Cheryl's marriage to Jean-Bernard. When asked how her friend is doing amid the divorce, Harding had expressed her confidence that Cheryl will be alright.

"I dropped her a text, but Cheryl's a strong girl and she'll bounce back - she always does," Harding said during her interview on "Loose Women" as seen in the video below.

Harding also talked about meeting Jean-Bernard and said he seemed nice when they met two years ago. However, she added that she has no knowledge of what his attitude is during his marriage with Cheryl.

Reasons for Cheryl and Jean-Bernard's divorce are unclear at the moment. There have been claims that Cheryl got fed up with his jealousy. However, the couple has yet to formally address the divorce reports.
