Tension builds weekly at Lifetime's hit reality television show "Dance Moms" and in the upcoming third episode of the sixth season, the drama is between coach Abby Lee Miller and her student Kendall Vertes. From the start of the season, the two have been in conflict and new reports reveal there is a chance the young dancer could lose her spot in the ALDC.

The latest synopsis of the show from TV Guide reveals Vertes' struggles on "Dance Moms" aren't over: "The new mini team arrives at the ALDC L.A. as Abby stresses over the new dancers and her continuing legal troubles. Meanwhile, Kendall's position on the Junior Competition team is threatened; and Jill goes after Ashlee and Brynn."

A report from Inquisitr revealed that there have been several reports that say Vertes' place in the competition could be winding down. Adding to the speculation surrounding the young dancer is the teaser for the next episode, where Miller was shown criticizing her student and declaring, "Kendall couldn't take anyone to the dark side."

Newcomer Brynn Rumfallo will also be under fire in the upcoming episode as Vertes' mother Jill will erupt over her inclusion in the ALDC group after Ziegler's temporary leave, according to a report from Design & Trend. Expecting her daughter to take Ziegler's star spot on the team, Jill will find herself furious at Miller. The mother will confront the coach about the newcomer saying, "Are you kidding me? You never trained that kid! You never taught her a God damn thing."

More trouble is brewing as Miller takes in a new set of younger talents that she calls "mini dancers." The mothers will not be happy at the development and accuse the coach of neglecting the regular students to work with her new dancers.

According to the report from Design & Trend, the famous coach has previously defended her decision to build a new crop of younger dancers saying "she needed to do what she needed to do."

However, it will only add to the tension and not just because of the mothers' displeasure but also over Vertes' possible exit as it could be a way to edge her out of the team in favor of the new dancers. After all, the dancer has already contemplated quitting the ALDC once, after facing much criticism during the season premiere.

The third episode of "Dance Moms" will be aired on Jan. 19 on Lifetime.
