Shakira and Sofia Vergara have bodies that thousands of women can only dream of having. Their fitness trainer, Anna Kaiser, shared some tips on how people can actually achieve the same results.

Latina reported that the New York-based celebrity trainer operates AKTinMotion, a special gym that focuses on energizing and community-based classes. Some of Kaiser's Hollywood star clients include Shakira, Vergara, Kelly Ripa and Sarah Jessica Parker.

According to Kaiser, consistency is the most important aspect in getting fit in 2016. She says that people have to work on their core at least three days each week. Throughout the day, the core muscles can be engaged by focusing on standing taller and holding your navel to your spine. While seated at a desk, the torso should be supported, with the abdominals engaged. The effect will be better than a 10-minute exercise. Kaiser said posture and alignment are essential, so people should concentrate on these consistently.

Kaiser said that Shakira gets her tight stomach by performing the plank. During the exercise, the navel should be pulled in to engage the deep abdominal muscles.

“Abs are made in the kitchen,” she said. The idea is to remove refined sugars and excess alcohol. People should also consume more foods that provide energy, such as natural grains, fruits, vegetables, seeds and free-range or grass-fed meats. For those who have to spend long hours at work, exercising for 20 minutes daily, while cutting down on extra calories will yield good results, as long as they remain consistent.

As for Sofia Vergara, Kaiser said that a combination of cardio and strength will work effectively, based on the same Latina report. For stressed individuals, setting realistic goals and consistently sticking to these will provide the results they want. Both Shakira and Vergara love dance combined with intense toning exercises. Finding an activity that you enjoy and doing it for 30 minutes will help eliminate stress and maintain a healthy and fit figure. People who exercise regularly will also realize that they feel happier and have healthier skin.

Kaiser said that staying consistent for six weeks will give excellent results. She even challenged people to commit to 20 minutes five days a week.
