Xbox Live Gold Subscribers Get EA Access Free Trial This Week
Electronic Arts is trying to show off the benefits of its subscription program called EA Access by offering a free trial this week. All Xbox Live Gold subscribers who have an Xbox One are eligible for a free trial to EA Access from Tuesday until Sunday.
During the trial period, Xbox Live Gold subscribers are able to download and play the 14 games EA Access offers, Tech Radar reports.
Xbox One owners will be required to download the EA Access app to their console. From there, they can access any of the 14 games in the Vault that EA offers.
EA Wants More Subscribers
Electronic Arts wants more gamers to sign up for its Access programs. The company announced the Origin Access program for PC owners recently, and this week it wants more Xbox One owners to join EA Access.

The current list of games in the Vault includes mostly sports games, but there are some action games as well. The games currently in the Vault are listed below.

Benefits of EA Access
Members of EA Access get to play all of the games that are available in the Vault and receive a 10 percent discount on all games purchased directly from the EA Store. With EA Access, members also get a chance to play games earlier than non-members.
EA Access plans to release Unravel to the Vault on Feb. 4, followed by Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Feb. 18 and UFC 2 on March 10.
EA Access normally costs $4.99 per month, but if members pay for 12 months all at once, they can get a full year for just $29.99. EA Access allows players to start playing games early and carry their progress forward when the game is released to the general public.
