It looks like Leonardo DiCaprio and Danny Boyle may be teaming up once again to work on the biopic about the late and exceptionally great Steve Jobs.

Though nothing has yet been confirmed, this would be the second time that the pair has worked together if this happens. Boyle and DiCaprio last teamed up in 2000 for the adventure-drama movie "The Beach," where DiCaprio played the role of Richard, a college student who travels to Thailand for the summer in search of adventure.

Boyle was just recently announced as the new director for the Steve Jobs biopic after news surfaced that the original director, David Fincher, dropped out.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures would not agree to Fincher's long list of demands that included $10 million up front in fees and control over the movie's marketing. Once they could not reach an agreement, Fincher decided to part ways.

Now that Academy award winning director Danny Boyle is on board he is looking to have DiCaprio join him, but it may be difficult since "The Wolf of Wall Street" actor has already committed to star in Alejandro González Iñárritu's thriller, "The Revenant."

Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Although the cast has yet to be confirmed, what is certain is that the Sony pictures film will be produced by Scott Rudin, Guymon Casady and Mark Gordon. The screenplay will be written by Aaron Sorkin ("The Social Network").

TIME reports that the film will be based on Walter Isaacson's biography Steve Jobs, which Sony acquired the rights to after the Apple mogul's 2011 death.

Here's a fun fact: the Hollywood Reporter revealed that before Boyle signed on as Fincher's replacement, Christian Bale was originally in talks to play the role Steve Jobs.
