Air Jordan Black History Month Release Dates 2016: AJ 1 Retro High Nouveau and AJ Spike 40 Price Arriving Soon [Photos]
Jordan Brand shoes are also expected to make a lot of noise in the coming weeks, as two new colorways were included in the 2016 Nike Black History Month Collection.
Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Nouveau in Black/Black/Voltage Green/White colorway, which has been getting a lot of attention over the past several weeks since leaked photos surface online.
Based on photos posted on the official 2016 Nike Black History Month Collection product page, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Nouveau "BHM" features a black-based upper part combined with multi-color accents.
This edition also has a Jordan Wings logo and BHM branding on the tongue instead of the usual Nike Air patch. It also sports a multi-colored Nike Swoosh logo and was finished off with a white sole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Nouveau "BHM" will arrive at retailers on Friday with retail price set at $150 per pair on Nike.com and selected retailers worldwide. Check the photos of this edition below.
Nike also announced that they will release the Air Jordan 1 Retro High for Girls in Black/Black/Voltage Green/White colorway. This edition looks similar to the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Noveau "BHM" but has more multi-color accents on the upper part.
The Girls' Air Jordan 1 Retro High "BHM" also has black laces and white Jordan Wings logo, Nike Swoosh and BHM branding on the tongue. It was also finished off with an all-white sole. It will also come out on Friday and will be available for $150 per pair.
Aside from the two Air Jordan 1 Retro colorways, the Air Jordan Spike 40 is also expected to make noise, as it is scheduled to hit shelves in Black/Black/Voltage Green/White colorway.
The Air Jordan Spike 40 "BHM" features a black-based upper part with multi-color pattern. The Pan-American inspired edition black laces and tongue with white Jumpman branding on it. This model, which is the latest silhouette of Spike Lee, was finished off with white midsole and translucent outsole.
Fans will have to wait a bit longer, though, before they can get their hands on this eye-catching sneaker. It will be released on February 6 on Nike.com with retail price set at $200 per pair.
All three Air Jordan models were included in the 2016 Nike Black History Month Collection. Earlier this week, Nike released the BHM editions of popular basketball signatures shoes Kobe 11, KD 8, LeBron 13 and Kyrie 2.
