Demi Lovato Shows Off #NoPhotoshop Pic, Reveals Disney's Worst Beauty Advice
Demi Lovato continued to show off her confidence with a behind-the-scenes photo from her new Allure magazine photoshoot.
On Jan. 19, the actress shared a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a two-piece outfit that showed off the star's figure and consisted of no photoshop.
"Behind the scenes (and bathroom door) of my Allure cover shoot..Posting a #nophotoshop pic because I'm proud to show my body the way it naturally is.. (And there was great lighting...)," she captioned the photo.
The photos for the beauty magazine are retouched. However, Lovato reveals in an exclusive video from the photoshoot that she liked them.
Her Instagram post was the star's way of continuing to promote natural beauty.
Allure magazine shared a photo of Lovato from the photoshoot on Instagram, when they announced her as their new cover star on Jan. 19.
In the new issue, her first cover for the glossy beauty magazine, Lovato revealed that the worst beauty advice she has ever gotten came from her former employer, the Disney Channel.
"I signed with Disney Channel when I got Camp Rock, and I had a gap between my two front teeth," she said. "They were like, 'Would you be willing to fix it?' I wish today that I hadn't, because my gap was really cute."
The singer also discussed keeping her skin clear with her Devonne by Demi skincare line, doing her own at home manicures and getting beauty advice from her mother.
Lovato, a champion for body confidence, shares photos on social media on a daily basis and is known for sharing bare-faced selfies every Monday, which she calls #NoMakeupMonday.
Last year, the Latina famously stripped for Vanity Fair and showed off her body in a series of photos, aimed at promoting female body empowerment, that included no makeup or photoshop.
Watch the star discuss some of her past beauty looks in a behind-the-scenes video from her Allure cover shoot.
