"Jane The Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez had discovered she has a lot more in common with her TV character with what she perhaps realized.

E! Online reports the 31-year-old star recently told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres with all the baby holding and cuddling her character is forced to do during the CW network show's second season has left her feeling lonely for a child of her own in real life.

"I feel like, they bring the baby up to me and my ovaries are like 'Ahhh, come here baby,'" Rodriguez told DeGeneres of the infant twins who play her on-screen son Mateo.

Through it all, Rodriguez is honest with herself about the situation, admitting that as badly as she now wants a child she can do without the entire process of actually giving birth to one.

"I don't want the whole process, I just want one to arrive," she said." Like the stork conversation." She later added of her on-set experience, "As soon as one cries, they take it away from me and the other one comes in. That's what happens in real life, right?"

On a more serious note, Rodriguez shared she's even entertained the idea of one day adopting, adding she now "definitely" wants to.

Rodriguez added all her success in her "Jane The Virgin" role has left many fans, first and foremost, interested in quizzing her about if she really is one whenever their paths cross.

"I'm 31," she said of her response to them. "That's it."

E! News reports Rodriguez recently walked the red carpet of the 2016 Golden Globe Awards with her father on her arms.

Rodriguez walked the runway decked out in a Zac Posen off-the-shoulder, silk sapphire ball gown, Jimmy Choo heels and Neil Lane diamond jewelry.

"I'm just glad I brought my dad here with me," she said.
