A major character will be meeting their demise on the season finale of primetime soap "Revenge."

On the finale, which is called "Execution," a character will be meeting an untimely end. According to Executive Producer Sunil Nayar, series star Emily VanCamp cried over the character's passing.

"With an episode title like 'Execution,' it's no surprise that the show is planning another major death," Nayar told TV Guide. "I was standing next to [Emily VanCamp] when she was sobbing over that passing, and I promise it will be surprising and impactful and alter the journey of all the characters on the show."

He said viewers should expect cliffhangers for every major character but should pay special attention to the episode's two final scenes.

"It's going to be a totally different show next season — a reincarnation," Nayar added.

On the latest episode of "Revenge" before its brief hiatus, Emily found another target while Aiden made a shocking family discovery.

In "Allegiance," Emily (Emily VanCamp) attends a horse race and eavesdrops on Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) as she argues with a former employee of Grayson Global. The employee, Luke Gilliam, implicates himself in David's demise.

Emily then makes it her mission to get close to him and eventually bring him down. Emily later takes out her red Sharpie and draws an X across Luke's face.

At the same time, Victoria is using a black Sharpie to put an X over Luke's face in her copy of the photo. It turns out she brought Luke to the Hamptons and purposely arranged for Emily to hear them talking, all so she could prove that Emily isn't just out to take down the Graysons. She tells Pascal (Olivier Martinez) that it's revenge for David.

Meanwhile, Aiden (Barry Sloane) tracks down Brenda Evans, a mysterious woman who has been spending Oscar Chapman's money ever since he faked his own death. And it turns out that there is a good reason why Brenda is spending Oscar's money: Brenda is Oscar in a wig.

He then finds out that his father thought he was planting diamonds on Flight 197, not a bomb, and that he didn't kill himself —Pascal killed him. He tells Oscar that he has to come forward.

Shortly after, Oscar is shot dead by Pascal.

Also, Conrad (Henry Czerny) tries to create trouble between Victoria and Pascal by suggesting that he is also responsible for David's downfall. Pascal then reveals to Conrad that he has a recording of a 20-year-old conversation that implicates both of them.

Jack (Nick Wechsler) breaks up with Margaux after he finds out that she helped Daniel (Joshua Bowman) steal Javier's program from Nolan (Gabriel Mann). Nolan gets back at Daniel by tweaking Grayson Manor's electricity.

On the next episode, titled "Revolution," Victoria will accept Pascal's marriage proposal. Alas, her happiness won't last very long as Pascal will get kidnapped ... by Emily.
