WWE Rumors: WrestleMania 32 Main Event, Bray Wyatt Rumble Win, WrestleMania 33 Location and More
The Road to WrestleMania 32 is set to begin at the Royal Rumble event on Sunday, Jan. 24, in Orlando, Florida. Roman Reigns is set to defend his WWE World Heavyweight championship in the Royal Rumble match against 29 other superstars. Here are the latest rumors around the WWE Universe.
WrestleMania 32 Main Event
According to the Wrestling Observer via Inquisitr, the planned main event for WrestleMania 32 is still Roman Reigns vs. Triple H. However, the report notes that it may not be for the WWE championship but it will still be concluding the biggest show of the year.
WWE may be worried of the reaction Reigns will get of winning back-to-back Royal Rumble matches even though he has been over with most crowds lately. It is very obvious that the feud between Reigns and The Authority will have to culminate at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
Bray Wyatt, Royal Rumble Winner?
With the possibility of Reigns losing his title due to Triple H's interference, Cageside Seats speculates that Bray Wyatt will be the winner of the Royal Rumble. This will be his first win in the WWE championship in his career. It will lead to a feud with Brock Lesnar, who The Wyatt Family attacked during the final segment of this week's Monday Night RAW.
Another possible finish for the Rumble is to have Reigns and Lesnar as the final two participants and be involved in a finish to set up the main event match for next month's Fastlane pay-per-view, per PWMania. The Rumble is still a couple of days away and Vince McMahon's plans will change a few more times.
Surprise Rumble Entrants
As for the surprise entrants for the Royal Rumble, PWInsider confirmed that A.J. Styles will be present at the event and could possibly make his much-anticipated debut. It is not known if he will enter the Rumble, but he is expected to appear on WWE television next week.
Wrestling Inc. also notes that Dave Meltzer said in the recent episode of the "Wrestling Observer Radio" that doctors from UCLA have cleared Daniel Bryan from his concussion symptoms. However, he will not be allowed to wrestle until WWE's Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon gives him the green light.
WrestleMania 33 Location
Last year, Minnesota was the favorite to host WrestleMania 33, but it looks like Orlando will be announced sometime this weekend as the official location for next year's show. In a report by Wrestle Zone from the Wrestling Observer, Orlando previously hosted WrestleMania 24 back in 2008. Since the Royal Rumble will be held in the city, the announcement looks very imminent.
