The #BalmainArmy is the hottest gang in the fashion circuit and the latest recruits are more adorable than ever. The brand announced plans to launch a new collection for children and images have emerged showcasing just how hip and fresh a kids' line can be.

According to a report from Fashionista, Balmain broke the news on their latest collection on Twitter. It's slated to be out in June, but the photographs of four stunning children donning the different pieces have already made waves.

Showing off the brand's signature attitude and flair, the models were clad in double-breasted coats, gold-tipped boots, leather pants, fur jackets, pretty skirts and more. Black, silver and gold were the striking hues of the shoot.

Balmain produced the upcoming collection themselves, opting to have creative director Olivier Rousteing oversee the 55-piece collection directly rather than licensing it out like a lot of other designers do. The decision to do so was significant to keep the clothes in line with the company and Rousteing's vision.

"When you see the Balmain children's pieces, you can see the references that are actually part of the Balmain women's and men's wardrobes," Rousteing pointed out in an interview with Vogue about the new collection. "It's easy for me to build the Balmain identity pretty coherently because I'm the same designer for men and women -- and not so many houses have the same designer for both."

Since Rousteing is behind the upcoming Balmain Kids, it's safe to assume the clothes will be authentic to the look of the brand. The line for six to 14-year-olds will, however, feature a hefty price tag. Like the adult collections, the pieces for children are expected to have designer prices including $200 tees and $5,970 embroidered dresses.

With the hottest models and celebrities a part of the "Balmain world," the eye-catching collection is on its way to becoming a favorite of the fashion set. After all, some of Rousteing's most high-profile muses are mothers, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Jourdan Dunn. The Balmain creative director said that one of his first steps will be making sure the children are part of the well-dressed squad as well. The army is growing all around the world.

"Balmain is also about diversity, and I think the casting and the pictures show that no matter where you come from, the Balmain army is open and all the kids from the world are a part of it," Rousteing told Vogue. "That's really what I wanted to show with this campaign, that it's a global line for all countries and all continents."
