Beyoncé is on the cover of TIME magazine's annual "100 Most Influential People in the World," which recognizes people who have inspired others the most, regardless of their moral standing.

The "Drunk in Love" singer, who wowed everyone by releasing a surprise album featuring 14 songs and 17 videos, confidently appears in the "Titans" portion of the magazine's latest issue, a section that also includes articles on the "Happy" hitmaker Pharrell and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, among others.

"She's the boss," Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, the author of the book "Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead," writes about Beyoncé. "Beyoncé has sold out the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour while being a full-time mother. Beyoncé doesn't just sit at the table. She builds a better one."

"Her secret: hard work, honesty and authenticity," Sandberg continues, "And her answer to the question, 'What would you do if you weren't afraid?' appears to be 'Watch me. I'm about to do it.' Then she adds, 'You can, too.'"

The 32-year-old R&B diva leads the list of pioneers, artists, leaders and icons, featuring President Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pope Francis and twerking pop star Miley Cyrus, who also appear on the coveted cover. Further covers placed inside the publication include actor Robert Redford, the NBA's first openly gay athlete Jason Collins, and General Motors CEO Mary Barra.

Beyoncé's rapper husband and frequent collaborator Jay-Z appeared on TIME's "The 100 Most Influential People' issue cover just last year.
