The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals group (PETA) has released a new campaign video that encourages people to go vegan if they want to last longer in bed.

PETA's new campaign video, with the slogan "Last Longer, Go Vegan," shows a comparison in the sex life between couples who love to eat meat versus those who go vegan. The video was supposedly meant to educate men about the dangers of eating meat and what it can do to their reproductive organs.

The video has been viewed over 616,000 times on PETA's official YouTube page. Out of this number of viewers, only 707 clicked like while it received over 1,000 dislikes. The video also left viewers in surprise with some questioning its connection to being a vegetarian.

Written under details to the video is where PETA explained how going vegan can increase a person's stamina during sex.

"Eating the saturated fat and cholesterol in meat can increase the risk of developing heart disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, and these can be dangerous to your love life. Why? Because they're all common causes of erectile dysfunction," PETA wrote on the video's description.

PETA said that plant-based food, on the other hand, keeps the blood flowing to all parts of the body. That's why going vegan is supposedly the "key to a hot love life and to lasting longer in the bedroom." Sexual life aside, PETA added that vegetarians are less likely to develop heart disease and they too have lower chances of suffering diabetes and cancer compared to meat-lovers.

However, viewers are still left unconvinced with PETA's campaign video. One user named xSk3lx commented on their video and said, "I'm vegan but what does this have to do with veganism ?" Meanwhile, others were simply surprised by the explicit scenes on the video.

According to Gossip Cop, PETA's "Last longer, Go Vegan" campaign video was supposedly scheduled to air on Feb. 7 at the NFL Superbowl 50. However, CBS bosses reportedly banned it from airing since they deemed it to be too sexually explicit for a half-time show commercial.

In a statement shared by Gossip Cop, PETA's Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said that the video was meant to show comedy and sex appeal. Banning it at the Superbowl 50 reportedly lets audience miss out on the lifesaving message the video invokes, which is that going vegan "can help clear clogged-up carnivores and get their blood pumping again."
