Xbox One, Xbox 360 Deals With Gold Revealed; List Includes ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’and ‘GTA 5’
The Xbox team knows how to take care of their players. This week, the Deals With Gold offers for Xbox One and Xbox 360 are a home run with discounts on some of the biggest titles recently including "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Grand Theft Auto 5," "Far Cry 4" and many more.
According to a report from the Major Nelson blog, all of the latest discounts are available until Feb. 1, 2016. After this sale period, a new set of discounted games is expected to land with the "Deals With Gold" program.
The Xbox One games that are available for all Xbox Live members are "Far Cry 4" and "Far Cry 4 Gold Edition," "Grand Theft Auto 5," "Tachyon Project" and "The Crew Wild Run Edition" while all Xbox Live Gold and Silver members can pick up discounts for "Rise of the Tomb Raider" as well as its Deluxe edition.
DLC Packs are available as well for Xbox Live members: "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" Large, Medium and Helix Packs (each pack purchased separately), plus "Grand Theft Auto 5" bundled with the Great White Shark Cash Card, the Megalodon Shark Cash Card, and the Whale Shark Cash Card. Gold and Silver members will be able to avail of the following "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" DLC packs: New Costume Pass, Story Mode, Core Fighters 30 Character Set, and Starter Set and Characters.
The Xbox 360 Deals With Gold are only available to Xbox Live Gold members including "Far Cry 2," "Far Cry 3," "Far Cry Blood Dragon," "Far Cry 3: Deluxe Bundle DLC," "Far Cry 4," "Far Cry Classic," "Far Cry Instincts Predator," "Grand Theft Auto 4," "Grand Theft Auto 5" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."
Microsoft continues to add to the impressive roster with new additions to the Xbox One backwards compatibility titles. In a separate report from Major Nelson, the 10 new Xbox 360 games available were announced: "Aegis Wing," "Age of Booty," "Counter-Strike: GO," "Jeremy McGrath's Offroad," "Sam & Max Save the World," "Skullgirls," "Small Arms," "Soulcalibur," "Space Giraffe" and "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings."
Along with the game announcements, it was revealed that the upcoming additions to the backward compatibility game list will now be released as soon as the titles are available instead of waiting for each set of new games every month. This way, the players can experience the games as soon as it gets the engineer and publisher approval.
