One Direction has a new member in their group, however, it is still not official since Louis Tomlinson just recently met him and he's none other than Tomlinson's newborn son. The Daily Mail reports that Tomlinson's former love interest Briana Jungwirth gave birth last week and the two named him Freddie Reign.

The singer even shared a selfie photo of him and his son Freddie on Twitter and Instagram last Wednesday. While shirtless, Tomlinson was seen holding his little boy in his arms and wrote the caption, "Meet my little lad, Freddie."

Of course, One Direction fans right away made the post an instant sensation and gained thousands of hits since it was the first time that Tomlinson was seen holding his son with former date Jungwirth, the Daily Mail reports.

The publication also revealed that Tomlinson is a full-time and “hands-on” father to his son. He even leased a home in Calabasas near Jungwirth’s pad to be closer to Freddie.

Not only that, the news agency speculates that Tomlinson picked the name Freddie while Jungwirth picked Reign. The two were good friends who decided to co-parent.

“Louis and Briana picked out the name together over the last few days,” a source told the news outlet. “Louis is already loving being a father and is so proud of Freddie. His son is his number one priority and he’s supporting Briana and Freddie in every way possible.”

To further prove that the One Direction singer is willing to support the mother-son duo, The Sun reports that Tomlinson will be giving more than £8 million to Jungwirth in child support, a total of £10,000 every month according to the publication.

Furthermore, while Tomlinson rents a five-bed mansion worth £10million near Jungwirth’s home, the mother of her son will be living in a three-bedroom home worth hundreds of thousands, TMZ speculates.

The check for the house was, of course, covered by Tomlinson. However, the furniture were paid by Jungwirth, according to the publication. Tomlinson and Jungwirth have remained silent about the recent speculations.

As Tomlinson has been recently linked with Disney star Diane Campell, a source from The Daily Mail speculates that the One Direction member still has high regard for his former love interest.

"Although they're not romantically involved, Louis thinks Briana is a great woman and will be a fabulous mother,” the source told the publication.
