"Grimm" fans looking forward to the show's midseason premiere Friday night can expect to learn more about Juliette's transition into a dangerous woman named "Eve."

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actress Bitsie Tulloch opened up about her new role on the show, revealing that the woman fans used to know is "gone."

"Eve has Juliette's DNA and flesh and blood, but there is no emotional connection to the life that Juliette led," she said.

"When she was kidnapped by Hadrian's Wall, obviously there were tranquilizer darts, because she's still alive. And Hadrian's Wall started putting two-and-two together that Juliette was an incredibly powerful Hexenbiest but didn't know how to rein it in and control it. So they almost have broken her into submission - into becoming a weapon for Hadrian's Wall."

According to the series star, viewers will not "see much of Juliette." Instead, they will see Tulloch play an entirely different character.

"She's a weapon, and when she's outside of the underground compound where she lives and sleeps, she has to go undercover because she's still in Portland," she added.

Meanwhile, the official synopsis for the upcoming episode, titled "Eve of Destruction," reveals that Nick will face more Wesen violence and a few unexpected surprises, including crucial information from Trubel.

"Nick (David Giuntoli) and the gang are still reeling from the scope of the ambush and the surprise return of 'Juliette' (Bitsie Tulloch), but not everything is as it seems. In light of the heightened Wesen violence, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) seek answers from the Wesen Council. Meanwhile, Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) has some information for Nick that will help him get what he is looking for," it reads, according to CarterMatt.

"Grimm" Season 5, Episode 7, "The Eve of Destruction," will premiere on Friday, Jan. 29, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
