"The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin," a new video documentary, will premiere next week at the Tribeca Film Festival. The documentary is about the revolutionary new technology known as Bitcoin and the manner in which it modifies how money functions. It features the various persons engaged with Bitcoin and also explores Bitcoin's origins, its mysterious founder, its mining market, culture and other important facts about the controversial crypto-currency.

The documentary includes several famous and distinguished Bitcoiners such as Charlie Shrem, Erik Voorhees, Gavin Adresen, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Mark Karpeles and a whole lot more. The documentary's trailer presents several subjects relating to Bitcoin including its creator, volatility, awareness, regulation, explanation, IRS taxation, etc. It was made to increase people's awareness of Bitcoin and to let them understand how it can be used as a digital currency.

In the preview, Bitcoin Foundation chief scientist Gavin Andresen said "You can practically put a bank in your pocket; that is pretty amazing." The creators of the documentary hope to present the benefits and advantages of digital currency. They also aspire to educate people and make them understand the facts about Bitcoin and that regardless of any obstacles, digital currency will continue to develop.

The Bitcoin documentary will premiere on Wednesday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. at SVA Theater 2 in New York. The film was directed by Nicholas Mross while Daniel Mross, his avid Bitcoiner brother, is featured in the documentary. Nicholas Mross said that it was originally planned to be a small documentary that included his brother's personal experience.

There will be a question and answer conference with the Mross brothers after the film. All attendees are encouraged to join this conference and be enlightened by the people responsible for doing the film. The question and answer session will also give the Mross brothers a chance to clear any confusion or misunderstanding that surrounds Bitcoin or their film.
