Olivia Palermo is fashion's darling, a regular fixture in the biggest magazines, the most star-studded front rows and the most exclusive industry fêtes. From couture to everyday chic, the stylish socialite can rock any look and now the 29-year-old is collaborating with Nordstrom's Chelsea28 for a new fashion line that any girl-next-door can grab for an Olivia Palermo flavor.

According to a report from Vogue, the fresh new collection will feature 32 different everyday pieces that Palermo refers to as "life pieces." These clothes are meant to be worn with versatile yet fashionable shirts, dresses and pants that can be dressed down or up in a variety of ways.

"It was important to start with life pieces, as I call them," Palermo said. "Taking a great navy wide-leg pant, for example, and being able to restyle it."

Palermo, known for putting together effortless and chic looks, shone in the recently concluded Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. From mixing prints in a playful checkered-on-checkered look at the Schiaparelli show to rocking a 70s inspired outfit with a furry vest for Elie Saab, the fashion-forward former reality star stood out among all the other style mavens, a report from Pop Sugar UK revealed.

For her collaboration with Chelsea28, Palermo is sticking to quality pieces starting with well-constructed basics including a few denim products.

"Denim is such an important part of one's wardrobe," she explained in the Vogue report. "It's important to understand what a girl wants. And Nordstrom has a similar take on the New York woman -- she's a woman on a mission who knows what she's looking for."

Fans of the New Yorker will be glad to know that the upcoming fashion line will not cost too much, despite the high fashion name behind it. The opening price point is set at around $68, which will likely excite budding stylists to nab clothes straight from Palermo herself.

With this new collection, Palermo and Nordstrom kick off a partnership that has the potential to launch many more projects in the future.

"It's a learning process," Palermo said. "We're just getting into the groove of working together, and I'm looking forward to the response!"

A lot of people look to her for style ideas, but even well-versed fashionistas such as Palermo need a dose of inspiration once in a while. In a report from Expose she said, "I get inspirations through my travels, through movies, a fashion book, street style. That's really where I get my inspiration from and not so much on red carpets."
