"Fallout 4" launched to a lot of players' delight and celebration, but there were also a few hiccups that stained the game's perfect debut on various platforms. This month, Bethesda Softworks is planning to fix the bugs that continued to plague "Fallout" with its biggest patch yet.

According to a report from Game Spot, the "Fallout 4" patch is already available on PC as an automatic download and it is set to arrive in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One within the week. There are a number of new features such as an additional ambient occlusion setting HBAO+ on PC and new weapon debris effects, but a lot of the great upgrades come in the form of bug fixes, making the game experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Additional features that players can look forward to are a new status menu for settlers, rotating ability and improved "ESDF" keys remapping support in Workshop Mode.

The different fixes included in the new patch were divided into three types: Gameplay fixes, Quest fixes and Workshop fixes. There are a lot, showing that the team behind "Fallout 4" is looking to provide the best version of the game possible.

Aside from general memory and stability upgrades, changes in gameplay include fixing issues of players warping to other locations, companions stuck with radiation poisoning or down state, resident dismemberment, camera displays, subtitle problems, NPCs stuck in power armor and more.

Quest fixes are more specific such as fixing an issue in "Taking Independence" when minutemen are not gathering in the Castle, or the problem of killing a caravan means the quest is left open.

On the other hand, Workshop fixes include upgrades like improvements to the act of snapping pieces together in Workshop Mode and fixing a bug that makes settler counts incorrect.

The entire patch notes of the next "Fallout 4" update are available at the Game Spot report.

In related news, Cinema Blend revealed that "Fallout" developer Bethesda Softworks has confirmed their participation at this year's E3 event. The announcement was made via the company's official Twitter account with the caption, "Are you game?" and the details of the much-awaited time on the stage. Bethesda will fill the 7 p.m. timeslot on June 12 at Los Angeles, California.

Last year, "Fallout 4" had the spotlight during the Bethesda Softworks presentation. This year, it's still unclear what the developer will be highlighting, but Cinema Blend suggested that "The Elder Scrolls VI" for other game engines is a possible subject as well as details on "Dishonored 2," a "Fallout 4" DLC or content for "Elder Scrolls Online."
