It's a given fact that Robert Kardashian iwas linked to O.J. Simpson's case in FX's docuseries, "The People VS OJ Simpson." Though the makers didn't focus on Kardashian's story, they were however, able to get a glimpse of who he is as a friend, as a person and as a father to his kids.

During their interview with Vulture, one of the showrunners, Larry Karaszewski, stated that he and his partner Scott Alexander didn't have enough details when it comes to O.J. Simpson's best friend, Robert Kardasian.

Karaszewski described Kardashian by telling the reporters that "He was the one guy in this case that didn't have any other weird motive involved. He was there because his best friend said he didn't do it, and he loved his friend, and he was going to remain loyal to his pal and see this to the end."

As Simpson's case moved forward however, Kardashian got confused as to whether Simpson actually did the crime or not. Despite being loyal to his friend, evidence pinpointed toward Simpson's guilt making Robert Kardashian confused and "conflicted."

Unlike the rest of his family [KUWTK cast], Robert is more of like his son Scott as he'd rather stay off the spotlight despite being iconic and famous.

Alexander told Vulture that "We know that Robert Kardashian was not a man who sought the limelight. We do know that Simpson's defense attorney Robert Shapiro pushed him in front of the TV cameras to read the suicide note that day, which was not something he was comfortable with."

As for the series' update, the makers were asked if they'd have any plans on placing a little twist on the OJ Simpson trial case to make it more interesting, but they both preferred to narrate what they know and would rather stick to facts.

Karaszewski told Vulture that "Veracity is our best friend. We love the truth. We think the truth is more interesting than anything we could make up."

Alexander, on the other hand, stated, "Here's something that got left out. This is just a fun piece of bizarre trivia, but we only had ten hours. We didn't have 20 hours."

As for the rest for the clan's involvement in OJ Simpson's life, it's a given fact that both Kris and Robert are best friends with OJ and his wife, Nicole, but there's more to their friendship behind closed doors.

As per Hollywood Life's report, evidence surfaced pointing Kris' affair with OJ as something that "might have actually happened." Though there are numerous speculations that emerged in regards to the said affair, the rumors remain unconfirmed up to this date.
