The MLB Spring Training is set to start in a few more days and teams are starting fill up their 40-man rosters, as well as stacking up their farm systems with the best available international prospects. Check out the latest rumors regarding free agent starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo and a host of Cuban prospects below.

The Teams Interested in Yovani Gallardo

According to Chris Cotillo of SB Nation, the Baltimore Orioles and two other teams are interested in signing the 29-year-old right hander. FanGraphs noted that the two other teams are the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies.

However, the Astros recently signed Doug Fister to a one-year deal so it's easy to take them off the interested teams list. Cotillo also mentioned that the Rockies are not one of the interested teams in the mix for Gallardo's signature.

FanGraphs noted that the Mexican pitcher is a much better fit in Baltimore than any other team. The Orioles are in need of an arm at the top of the rotation to replace Wei-Yin Chen, who bolted to Miami this offseason. The Orioles ownership is also ready to spend money evidenced by the new deals given to Chris Davis and Darren O'Day.

Gallardo has made 30 or more starts in seven straight seasons while posting a career record of 102-75 with a solid 3.66 ERA in nine years in the majors, per Baseball Reference. The Toronto Blue Jays have also been linked with Gallardo, with SportsNet reporting that the Blue Jays have been in contact with his camp for the entire offseason.

In a report by MLB.com, Lazaro "Lazarito" Armenteros will make a decision regarding his chosen team this coming Wednesday. The Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies and three other unnamed MLB teams have an interest in signing the 16-year-old prospect out of Cuba.

"I'm always ready. I'm realizing my dream to play professional baseball. I'm planning on making a decision on Wednesday, but only God knows what will happen and when I will sign. I'm not worried about it. I'm just waiting on the right opportunity," Armenteros said.

On the other hand, Yulieski and Lourdes Gurriel are confirmed to have left Cuba and will establish residency somewhere, per Baseball America. Yulieski is a 31-year-old third baseman and considered the best player in Cuba, while his 22-year-old brother is one of the best prospects in the sport.

However, the report mentioned that there is a chance the both brothers won't be able to play in the majors until the 2017 season. Baseball America noted that the process for Cuban players to be MLB-eligible usually takes several months.
