Phil Spencer breaks his silence on the issue of "Quantum Break" not maintaining its Xbox One exclusivity. According to Attack of the Fan Boy, gamers were enraged over Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment's recent announcement, with some players threatening to cancel their pre-orders of the game.

On a Twitter exchange between Xbox gamers and Spencer, one gamer under the handle @The_CrapGamer ranted his concern and said that he already canceled his pre-order.

Meanwhile, Spencer replied with, "You cancelled a pre-order for a game you wanted to play because someone else get's to play the game on Windows?"

It was apparent that the gamer was after principles and not just a mere act of selfishness. The player also believes that other Xbox exclusive games will follow suit after this.

Phil Spencer cleared everything and explained his side, "I've said it over and over, we are focused on the best place to play for gamers, not about creating walls."

Concerns over spending money just so they can play online bothers Xbox players because other features that they get are now available on PC for free. Spencer also implied that players should not compare the difference between PC and console gamers because he believes that everyone choose their own platforms for the experience and not for anything else.

On "Quantum Break's" website, Windows 10 offers some deals for those who will pre-order the game online. According to the site, players who will order the game through the Xbox Store will also get a free copy of "Quantum Break's" Windows 10 version. The offer will run from Feb. 11 to April 4, 2016.

As for the shared progress of the game from cross platforms, the website noted that ""Quantum Break' will support shared saves between the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions. There is no cross-play functionality as 'Quantum Break' is a single player action-adventure experience."

For the "Quantum Break" Windows 10 version, the game requires Windows 10 (64-bit), DirectX 12, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 390, Intel Core i5 4690, 3.9GHz or AMD equivalent, 4 GB of VRAM and 16 GB of RAM.
