When Miley Cyrus isn't out banging around on stage during her sold out, globe-trotting tour -- and when she is not too busy posting on Facebook and Instagram -- she kicks back and relaxes in style. The infamous tongue wagger is worth a small fortune and her lavish house in Studio City reflects that. But Cyrus isn't the only celeb with square footage addiction. Without further adieu, let's take a look at all the crazy celeb mansions populating Los Angeles and America at large.

Miley Cyrus' house is a midcentury modern masterpiece. You can view pictures of the pre-Miley Cyrus version of the house right here. Here's what the real estate listing said when it was available: "Up a private road lies a one-of-a-kind offering nestled atop the hills of Studio City. Mid-century modern gated & walled view compound re-imagined from studs to ceiling, the ultimate California indoor/outdoor living experience & perfect celebrity hideaway."

While the architect of the house is unknown, this pad is quite simply famous in its own right. But the highlight of Miley's house is her funtastic backyard. It's like a portal to a bizzaro world. In it you'll find a replica of the Hollywood sign, a life-size horse sculpture flanking the in-ground pool, a teepee and lots of famous people filming music videos and stuff!

Conscious uncouplers Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are definitely going through a cold stretch at the moment. But at least their kids are able to say they were raised in this heated and cozy mega-mansion. The 8,000-square-foot abode features a beautiful Southern-esque exterior with white brick walls and austere columns. The mansion also features an airy open floor plan that flows from the front door into a nicely kept grilling patio out back. Inside a ginormous, eclectic kitchen demands action while the house lights up like a Christmas tree.

Lastly, let's talk about Justin Bieber. He ditched his 'best coast' Calabasas, Calif. home for a spot in rap heavy Hotlanta. Reportedly the teen heartthrob wants to make a rap album with Birdman. TMZ reported on this and they talked about how Bieber has a hip-hop look nowadays with his tattoos, style of dress and rap sheet. So now he needs a house to add to that credibility and he certainly hit a home run with his selection -- a spaceship mansion! The out-of-this-world style rental property probably has the most unique exterior you've ever seen.
