In the next episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will agree to help Enzo (Michael Malarkey) look for the vampire huntress Rayna Cruz (guest star Leslie Anne-Huff) to save his loved ones.

In Season 7 Episode 13 of “The Vampire Diaries” titled “This Woman’s Work,” Enzo will compel Damon to look for the lethal and ruthless vampire huntress. Damon will find himself in a difficult situation and a dark secret will finally be unraveled by Enzo. This will give the former no choice, but to aid Enzo in his search for Rayna Cruz’s location.

Damon met Rayna for the first time in the previous episode. He agreed to help Enzo to prevent Rayna from killing his loved ones in Mystic Falls. When he saw Rayna for the first time, he was immediately reminded of his estranged love, Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev).

Damon immediately realized that Rayna was a powerful force to reckon with. Based on the promo video, the episode would be full of action, with a number of big secrets revealed. Damon was also shown talking to his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley), warning him about Rayna.

One scene also showed more of Rayna’s abilities. Bonnie (Kat Graham) also told Stefan that his brother needs him and that Damon was going to get himself killed without any help. In another scene, Damon told Rayna how much she looked like Elena and her three doppelgangers. Rayna pushed him against the door.

“Caroline's life is put in danger when complications arise from her supernatural pregnancy. Meanwhile, Enzo forces Damon to help him track down Rayna Cruz, a ruthless vampire hunter who is on the loose. However, Damon's actions inadvertently put everyone he loves in Rayna's path,” stated the episode synopsis.

Caroline’s life is said to be at risk due to the effects of her extraordinary pregnancy. Stefan and Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) will have to go extra lengths to save her life and the babies. Caroline is waiting to deliver the twins by Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe).

Aside from Enzo, everyone who matters to Damon will also be going toward Rayna. Damon will be compelled to mend his ways, and he will try to solve the situation to avoid putting others at risk.

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 Episode 13 will air on Friday, Feb. 19, on The CW.
