WWE Fastlane is this Sunday (Feb. 21) at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, but the question going on in people’s minds is will there be last minute surprises.

When you talk about surprises, it refers to shock outcomes and/or surprise appearances. The WWE has done it before and with Wrestlemania 32 the next pay-per-view, WWE Fastlane is the best place to kick off the protagonists of the matches which will take place in Arlington, Texas.

At the top of the heap is no other than the main event card, a Triple-Threat match to determine who goes to Wrestlemania 32 as Triple H’s opponent for the WWE heavyweight title.

The script calls for Roman Reigns to win it all though recent weeks have seen the sudden push of his buddy Dean Ambrose.

If power is to be measured, the Lunatic Fringe is fighting at a pretty distinct handicap. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are expected to use their power game though Ambrose’s stubbornness is something that could will him to survive through the match.

Technically, the main event is expected to be a one-on-one between Ambrose and Reigns. This is with the belief that the Wyatt Family will get involved and cost Lesnar his chance.

Rumors of a Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt tiff have long been in the cards and all of that was see at the WWE Royal Rumble. Though it remains to be seen when the Wyatt’s will strike, Lesnar is in no way expected to come out the victor this weekend.

The only surprise could be to see Ambrose winning over Reigns. The odds right now call for the Big Dog to win it all and challenge Triple H next.

After losing his title thanks to Stephanie McMahon’s Fatal Five-Way match at WWE Raw, Ambrose has all the reason to make a run at a title shot. Unfortunately, seeing that materialize this Sunday isn’t expected by many.

Other matches will include United States champion Kalisto up against Alberto Del Rio once again in a 2 out of 3 Falls match. Being an underdog, Kalisto seems more likely to win this one and retain his title.

Kevin Owens faces Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental title though it won’t be surprising if the Canadian remains a champion. There is no evidence that ‘the Showoff’ is on a streak to snag the title aside from the fact that Owens could be plan B in case Ambrose does lose in the main event.

Charlotte will test Brie Bella, but the odds-on choice is the still the WWE Divas champion to keep her title. With Brie’s hint of possible retirement, it may not make sense to crown her as champion if she is bound to leave.

Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles should be interesting though the Phenomenal one can't pull of yet another win unless there is some outside interference from someone like The Miz.

The other two matches don’t seem that important but should be nevertheless entertaining. This is the Wyatt Family vs. the team of Big Show, Kane and Ryback and a Divas tag match involving Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch against Naomi and Tamina.

For the Divas tag match, keep a close eye on the Banks-Lynch tandem. It will be interesting to see if these two can work considering their reluctance.
