"My Prerogative" singer Bobby Brown is back in rehab, seeking treatment for cocaine and alcohol related issues.

Less than a year after burying daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child he had wife ex-wife Whitney Houston, several media outlets are reporting the 47-year-old Brown is now seeking treatment in California.

"Bob is in rehab," said a source close to the singer.

Brown has History of Drug Abuse

Brown has previously admitted his struggles with booze, heroin and cocaine, the latter drug he claims to have been introduced to by Houston, who died in 2012 after she was found face down in the bath tub of the Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. An autopsy later revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.

Not long after that, Brown sought treatment for another relapse and six months after that he was charged with driving under the influence and sentenced to an 18-month rehabilitation program.

Brown's latest struggles come just days after he and wife Alicia Etheredge announced she is pregnant with the singer's seventh child. She is expected to give birth sometime over the summer.

Brown announced last fall that he was working on a tell-all novel he insisted he was using as a therapeutic outlet to deal with the loss of his daughter. Like her mom, Bobbi Kristina was also found submerged under water in the bathtub of the home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon and later died under hospice care in Georgia.

Bobbi Kristina Buried Next to mom Whitney Houston

She has since been buried next to her mom at a New Jersey cemetery. After her death, police launched a criminal investigation into the circumstances of the situation, which reportedly targeted Gordon as the primary suspect.

Gordon has also been slapped with a multimillion dollar wrongful suit by her estate charging that on the night she was rushed to a hospital emergency room he served his girlfriend a "toxic cocktail" that all but rendered her defenseless.
