'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' Release Date Pushed Back; Akuma's Purpose Revealed
"Tekken" fans are eager to get their hands on "Tekken 7." At this time, there is still no official date as to when it is coming, but Bandai Namco is working on "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" to appease their waiting fans.
Release Date Delayed
For those who are hoping to enjoy "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" in the arcade soon, you will surely be disheartened because it will be delayed. Parent Herald reported that the title will be hitting arcades in Japan later than expected. Its arrival has been pushed back to July 2016.
The disappointment is reasonable given the long wait for "Tekken 7" and the delay for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." However, Bandai Namco is surely gearing up to produce the best game.
Akuma's Purpose
Meanwhile, per Bidness Etc, the "Street Fighter" crossover character, Akuma, is the "missing link" in the Mishima plot. It was already confirmed that the upcoming game will end the Mishima clan.
Per the report, the Supreme Master of the Fist is indebted to Kazumi and he will do her a favor. There has been an issue boiling among the Mishima members due to their inclination for more power. Heihachi is out of his mind and is thinking of possessing more power and his son Kazuya wants to kill him before he decides to finish him first.
Heihachi has been a treacherous character. He betrayed his father Jinpachi Mishima, threw his son Kazuya off the cliff and has been unfaithful to Jin. Due to his nature, he developed several enemies and was disliked by everyone.
Kazuya is plotting to kill his father and steal the devil powers from Jin. However, his plans may not succeed because Akuma's inclusion in the game is to end Kazuya and Heihachi. Kazumi is tired of the troubles and endless fighting that they encounter just to possess more and more power.
It is still uncertain how things will exactly unfold, especially that in the recent trailer featuring Akuma, fans will see Kazumi and Heihachi disclosing their love for each other. It is intriguing what convinced Kazumi to kill the love of her life. Is it because of the power issues among the family members or are there are more personal issues between them?
