Despite losing the Miss Universe crown, there may be bigger things in store for Miss Colombia Ariadna Guttiérez.

Playing Vin Diesel’s Love Interest

TMZ revealed that Gutiérrez recently signed a contract to play Vin Diesel’s love interest in “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”

According to production insiders, Guttiérez will not have a forgettable role. She will actually appear in six scenes and has three pages of dialogue. Miss Colombia is reportedly set to travel to the Dominican Republic on March 1 to start filming. It will be the first time that the Latina beauty appears in a movie.

“xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” will be a great opportunity for the 22-year-old beauty queen to showcase her acting skills. The Daily Mail noted how she has a striking resemblance to Latina actress Sofia Vergara. If fans positively respond to her appearance, she might be set for more Hollywood movies.

Gutierrez will be joining other cast members such as Nina Dobrev, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Deepika Padukone, Donnie Yen, Ruby Rose and Conor McGregor. Vin Diesel last starred in the film franchise in 2005 with “xXx: State of the Union.” He will reprise his role as Xander Cage in the action film.

It is not actually the first time that Gutiérrez was offered a film role. According to Hollywood Life, after the Miss Universe, the Colombian was offered $1 million by Vivid Entertainment to make a sex tape. Porn king Steve Hirsch forwarded her a letter, stating that another beauty queen, Vanessa Williams, is still famous because of her nude pics. Gutiérrez, however, turned down the offer, saying that her family would be disappointed if she agreed to do it.

Miss Universe Blunder

Previously, Gutiérrez shared how she was humiliated after being crowned Miss Universe and then having the title taken from her by host Steve Harvey, who claimed that he mistakenly read the judges’ card. Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned instead, and Gutierréz had to settle for first runner-up, per Daily Mail. 

She said that she took some time grieving about the event, which happened in December 2015, but has now apparently bounced back. Although she lost in the overall, many believed that she has a bigger chance than Miss Philippines to actually make it big in Hollywood, considering her beautiful face and sexy physique, writes Hollywood Life.
