Joe Giudice of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Responds to Possible Deportation After Prison: 'Anything Can Happen'
Joe Giudice's upcoming 41-month prison sentence on bank fraud related charges may not be the biggest of his worries. "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's Italian born husband admits he's hounded by the thought of facing deportation proceedings once he is released from incarceration.
Could Joe be Deported?
"Anything can happen, you know? There is nothing in life that is certain," he recently shared with ET during an exclusive sit-down interview in New York City. "We will deal with that when I get out."
Only recently released from serving out the terms of her own 15-month sentence on similar charges, Teresa added, "We're just taking it day by day."
At the head of their list of things to consider is what effect their father being away so soon after experiencing the same thing with their mother might have on the couple's four young daughters.
"They go on computers, they know everything," admitted Joe when quizzed as to whether or not his daughters' are aware that he will soon be going away. "I mean my daughter Milania tells me, 'You're going away for a lot more months than mommy.'"
He is officially scheduled to begin serving out his sentence on March 23, a day which Teresa readily admits she is not at all looking forward to.
"I'm going to miss sleeping with him at night and cuddling with him," she said. "I'm going to miss the passion, and I can't say any more than that."
Teresa Hoping all her Obligations Will Keep her Busy
Beyond being a single parent, Teresa plans to keep busy by filming scenes for "RHONJ" and promoting her new memoir, "Turning the Tables."
Word is she will be commanding a salary of as high as $2 million per season from Bravo network honchos.
Meanwhile, Joe seems intent on trying to make the best of a horrible situation.
"I haven't stopped drinking in I don't know how long, so I could definitely use it just for that," he said of his prison stint. "[It's] probably going to be a good thing for me, health wise anyway."
